if no check engine light on have a transmission specialist check this. it may be a clutch seal or clutch pak going bad. If you can check transmission fluid if dark brown or black then it is time for a rebuild.

Thank you, fluid seams to be in good shape. I am considering a filter change and a look into the pan. no codes and sometimes shifts better than other times.

it may help but if you see large pieces, not like little grindings as that is normal from thrust washer wear.
