Transmission shifting problem

This is due to the transmission interlock solenoid not releasing. This could be the solenoid itself or the brake light switch is not working. So check the brake lights when you press the pedal and see if the lights come on. If they don't then the switch is the issue.

If they do then you need to replace the solenoid. I attached below the information on these items. Let us know if you have questions. Thanks
