Good afternoon,
Did you check the fluid level? See if it is a nice red color.

I would start by changing the fluid and filter and see if that helps. It could be the filter is clogged.

I attached a TSB below for this issue. It will require removal of the transmission for the repair.

SUBJECT: TORQUEFLITE 904
PROBLEM: No forward movement
No forward movement of Torqueflite 904 could be caused by a broken weld or stripped spline in the front planetary. If front planetary is broken, power flow will stop at the output shaft.

No forward movement of 904 with LOCK-UP VALVE BODY after assembly could be caused by a mislocated checkball in transfer plate (Fig. 1)

If checkball is installed at location shown, it will cover rear clutch apply hole in case (Fig. 2).
To determine if a checkball is to be installed, check the separator plate at the location shown below. If there is one hole, no checkball should be installed. If there is a smaller 2nd hole, a checkball should be installed. The purpose of this checkball is to orifice fluid flow to the forward clutch for a more cushioned apply.
If checkball is installed at location shown, it will cover rear clutch apply hole in case (Fig. 2).
