Hello, my vehicle is leaking light brown oil. Recently my wheel bearing on the front driver side broke off and I'm not positive if it damaged my oil pan or not. My car is prompt me to get oil changed and I have. Maybe the coolant is low?

Hi,

If it is a light brown color, it could be engine oil, coolant, dirty transmission fluid, or power steering fluid.

If you stand in front of the vehicle, approximately what portion of the engine compartment does it appear to be coming from? For example, does it appear to be from the driver's side front of the vehicle, passenger's side front, or a different location?

Additionally, have you checked all fluid levels to see if anything is low? Also, when you say the wheel bearing broke, did the bottom of the vehicle hit the road?

Let me know.
