Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

If you look at the attached picture, it indicates the type of fluid required. However, there are other brands which can be used in place of this. Just make sure it is compatible. Often times, there are universal fluids which can be used. Look on the label to confirm it will work in place of the recommended fluid.

Let me know if I can help.

Hello good evening, do you know where I can get the Shell M1375.4 transmission fluid to buy please? I cannot get it to buy where I am living? I just heard that the valvoline Maxlife fully synthetic transmission fluid (ATF) can be used in my car.Is that true? Thank you for you kind response.

Hi and welcome back:

Not knowing where you are located, makes it difficult to confirm. However, it is very possible that the maxlife will work. What I suggest is to check on the bottle or online to confirm it can replace what the car calls for. Also, there is an 800 number for valvoline you could call. Look at picture 1. I googled customer assistance for valvoline and this number came up.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care and you're very welcome. Let me know if I can help in the future or if you have other questions related to the ATF.
