Transmission leak from input connect to seal

I have this problem in the transmission leak which I go underneath the car and checked the leak. then I see it from where it connects to the engine.

Main leak is from ( transmission input seal where it connects to the engine). what would you advise me to do? is that seal inside cost much ?

The input shaft seal only costs a few bucks, but the transmission has to be removed to replace it.

There is also a vent at the top of the pump. Fluid can make its way up there if it is foaming. That will leak out at the same place on the bottom, but replacing the seal will not solve it. That can be caused by overfilled fluid that is getting air whipped into it by rotating parts, or if the pump is sucking up air. The clue is a pump seal leaks all the time the engine is running. Foaming from the vent only occurs when the car is moving, and it may not occur at low speeds.

prices vary so ours could be wrong but anywhere from $1800-2000 for a recuilt
