I have the vehicle listed above XLT with a leaking transmission (CD4E). After a couple minutes with degreaser and a toothbrush. I've found the source of the leak. One of the top bolts on the transmission oil pump is the cause of the leak. Is there any concern for the seals or just go ahead and torque spec it again?

Fluid changed about 30,000 miles ago. I should note that this is a second/new replacement transmission installed at about 220,000 miles, the vehicle has currently 320,000 miles on it.

Can you upload an image? I see there is an O ring seal, but it should not be leaking out of a bolt hole. I found image of the transmission pump, please check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.

Hey Ken, in reference to the picture you uploaded, section 19 is the area of concern. I uploaded a picture and as you can see one of the bolts (top) is the only bolt leaking. I have yet to touch it, as I wanted a little bit more information before moving on. By any chance, do you know the torque spec for these bolts?

They don't show a torque spec, but it looks like the large O ring seal is leaking so I would check all of the bolts to see if any are loose. Thanks for the image.
