transmission interchange

I have a 4+4 with a 318. The transmission is out and it is hard to get one for it. i have a Dodge with a 360 motor can i use the transmission off it and put it on my 318?

there are three different ones 42re 44re and 47re should be stamped on pan/case rail or a tag just make sure they are the same and use torque converter for a 318 not a 360 because it is balanced different.
