Transmission in limp mode when warm

Goes into second gear limp mode. draws code 1776 only when warm.

Could the problem be a bad solenoid pack?

More likely the valve body itself. The switches do fail but you need the PCM breakout box and the trans simulator to do any testing. If you have those you can check the LR Pressure Switch resistance. Should be below 5 ohms for a good switch.
