transmission hard shifting

I recently replaced the solenoid pack the transmission fluid and filter i can drive it but it shifts hard on every gear at about 2500 rpm

did it do that before you worked on it? a hard shift doesn't hurt it anyhow was it acting up is why you replaced solenoids and fluid in the first place.

Yes now I get all the gears but with a really hard shifting on first and second and the other gears I have to go to a really high rpm to get them to engage

if fluid you removed was dark brown or black then this trans will not last long as it was losing a clutch pak or seal more than likely . Have a trans guy look at it

My fluid wasn't brown or black and it didn't smell burnt
