My mother passed away and I got this vehicle. It has 160,000 miles on it and the transmission fluid has never been changed. No lights are on dashboard.

I’m sorry to hear about your mother. On the CR-V, if the transmission is currently shifting normally and there are no warning lights.

At 160,000 miles, I would recommend doing a simple drain and refill only, using the correct Honda automatic transmission fluid. Do not have the transmission power flushed, because forcing fluid through an older transmission that has never been serviced can sometimes stir up debris and create shifting problems.

Here is a guide to help you do the job.
