Do I have to use Mopar Atf+4 for the transmission after fluid and filter replacement? Or I can use any other Atf+4 brand as Castrol Transmax ATF+4® Transmission Fluid (1 Quart)?

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros. Com.

Chrysler has their own specific type. However, there are other manufacturers which produce a comparable replacement that is fine. Keep in mind, someone made it for Chrysler. Just make sure what you buy indicates it can be used in place of the original type.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe

According to that information, it will be fine. It specifically indicates it can replace ATF+4.

Take care,
Joe

The AC compressor making noise when engaging after I replaced AC accumulator, refiled the Freon and added 2 oz of oil. How much oil the compressor needs to have Nippodenso 10s17 and what Pag? Oil. Do I need to evacuate the system again and check the oil in it?
