How to check the transmission fluid when there is no dipstick?

No dipstick installed. Need to know where and how to check fluid. The car is running kind of sluggish.

Hi,

There is a fill/check plug that is located on the torque converter side of the transmission. With the engine at operating temperature and running, that plug is removed. If the fluid is full, you should get a dripping of fluid from that location.

Note: If you open the plug with the engine off, you will lose a lot of fluid. The engine must be running.
