Is there a spot where I can add transmission fluid and check the level?

They don't show a service interval nor any way to check or add fluid to the automatic. It does show the CVT and the DCT manual. The only thing I found was that it tells you that when you install a replacement you need to flush the transmission cooler before connecting the lines. Even the TSB about fluid used in which vehicles doesn't list your vehicle. I'm not sure if a dealership has some other information source or if they have a tach who has swapped out a used transmission and figured out a way to check and fill.

She had mentioned that the vehicle has a rough idle when she’s at a stop. I thought there would be a somewhere to add tranny fluid at least. For example, my 2008 Cobalt has no transmission dip stick but a spot to add and to check on the driver side with the overflow and drain plugs, but they just keep making them more and more different and harder to work on them ourselves.

I would bet that something like that is there, but none of the service info shows it. It's one of the ways they "reduce the cost of ownership". The companies get credits for lower frequency of things serviced over the life of the vehicle. However, the life of the vehicle is only the amount of time covered by the warranties! That is why the 10-year 100,000-mile warranty vanished and now the only long warranty is on the emissions parts. It's also why fluids that were changed every 3,000 are now every 7-10K and coolant and transmission fluids are now "lifetime".
