This happens when the turbine speed sensor goes out. Here is how to replace the sensor in the diagrams below. Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Hi Ken, I am sure you are referring to the speed sensor which is connected to the trans body.

Please I like to know if the turbine speed sensor is inside the gear box or just on the body?

Do I have to open the cover and empty the transmission fluid to get to it, or its just fitted on the outside of the gear box?

Hi Ken, I got the transmission cover removed. I can see two turbine sensors at both ends opposite to each other. How can I test the sensors to know which is malfunctioning? Can I also interchange them?

Hi Ken. I got both sensors out and I did a resistance test with a voltage meter. On one I got 3.50 oms and the second I got 3.33 oms. I also did live data on output speed I realize the sensor with the 3.33 omes does not transmit as that of 3.50, while I hook the sensors with my ignition key open I had another mechanic using a screwdriver to touch the metal part on the sensors.
