Transmission fails when driven for about ten minutes

Bad fluid was poured into the gearbox and the car couch not select smoothly, it revs on high rmp's and jerks. And later fails to movement when engaging drive. But reverse normal.
The bad oil was drained out and replaced by transmission engineer who said he replaced some burnt clutch fiber. Now the car drive when the engine is cold and fails when hot that if driven for about ten minutes. The engineer mentioned replacing the transmission ECU but not sure if that would solve the problem. I suggested reprogramming the ECU (brain box )but still not sure if it will work. Please kindly advise me what to do.

Hello, I am Danny.

It sounds like having the old transmission fluid (burnt) has ruined the transmission. How many miles are on the vehicle? If a transmission with high mileage has old/burnt fluid has not be changed regularly it will contain friction material from the clutches. Once the fluid is then changed with fresh/clean fluid due to the loss of friction material the transmission will begin to slip and at some point will ultimately fail. Thank you Danny, your advice is very helpful.

I will make use of it. But the situation now is worse as the don't move forward when engaged in drive, but it moves smoothly backwards when engaged in reverse.
So I thought I should replace the transmission box. But my mechanic is making things difficult for me. He told me that my transmission box carries 13 pin socket. Which is very expensive. Maybe he is thinking I will give him cash to go and purchase it.
A friend using same car told me the car only comes with 10 pin socket and another 7 pin socket which is the selector.
Please help me fine out which is correct pin socket for 2004 Toyota camry V6 ,3.0L Engine, 5 speed automatic transmission.
I want to know the type of pin socket it carries. And also how to check it by myself.
