Transmission control solenoid replacement

I need help on how to replace the transmission control solenoid.

Hello, I am Danny.

That involves a few steps to remove the automatic transmission pan to gain access to the valve body. I have attached a few pictures explaining the disassembly process. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Thanks for the reply and the diagram they are very helpful. I was to change the Solenoid. However, the issue remain the same, when I start the vehicle, it take a long time for the transmission to engage and even after it engage it slip out again. Scanning gave me P0750, please what do you suggest?

Hello again.

Were you able to change the shift solenoid? The code P0750 is for "Shift Solenoid A " I believe that was the same code from before. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions if needed. Thanks again for using 2CarPros.

Good afternoon.

Just to add to Danny's help, did you replace the filter when the pan was down?

The 750 is a shift solenoid but will not cause it to come out of gear. That is a pressure issue possibly with the front pump.
