Transmission codes?

Just finished replacing this motor, started great. Before i started it i put in 3 3/4 quarts of ATF, not sure if it will need more after warm. Anyways left it running till it was warm, put it in gear and it felt like someone hit me from behind. Pulled codes, hopefully it's something i forgot or low fluid, turned it off and lowered it to be level, took transmission dip off and there is nothing. Maybe cause i lost it all when i drained it and lost some from converter i need to put in mote? Here are the codes, not sure if they came because of low fluid or maybe i switched some wiring or left something off.

Just added 2 more quarts and now have fluid showing, still doing the sane hard jerk. I cleaned the connector on the neutral switch as it had oil from working, cleaned both ends, now only have the ect code but the jerk is so harsh, very strange, wasn't doing that before i replaced the motor. Car still on jacks, tie rods and stabilizer links not connected.

Hi,

If you drained the transmission and torque converter, it would likely need more fluid.

Now, the codes you have are interesting. The one for the ECT wouldn't have anything to do with a rough shift. The other code indicates that the transmission is being told to do multiple things at the same time.

Go to the transmission range sensor and inspect the connector to make sure it isn't pinched. I have a feeling the connector wiring/harness is pinched and shorting causing the transmission to go into multiple gears at the same time.

Also, take a look at the diagram below. You may find it helpful as well.

I removed it all again and checked connectors and harness, no bent pins, no wires crushed but it may have not been seated properly as these have a lock and it's a bit broken. Seated it right and tried it went into gear without the harsh jerk, so we know it's from that dang connector. I left it alone to do something else. I will keep you updated.
