Transmission fluid check?

I am trying to verify the transmission fluid level on my son's car listed above. However, on the dipstick, there is only the crosshatch mark toward the bottom of the dipstick, and the word "HOT" above two curvatures in the stick. Currently, it appears to be sitting toward the bottom end of the crosshatch while the car is running. Any suggestions as to where exactly to look to ensure that it has enough fluid? Pic attached.
