Transmission replacement, does it need programming?

Jerks bad, and lots of internal whine. If i replace it does it need programming? This is the DSG automatic?

It looks like the transmission does not need to be programmed, they just want you to check the oil level before you use it. Here are the instructions on how to remove and install the unit with instructions for any adjustments it might need. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
