Will the 1990 transfer case and transmission interchange with a 1988 Nissan pathfinder?

Good morning.

The 1988 and 1990 are the same transfer case as long as they both have the same transmission.

As I stated in the original answer, yes as long as they both are mounted to the same transmission.
