Here in California I had my 1997 4x4 Silverado transmission rebuilt with one year warranty for $1,800.00. Having a transfer case rebuilt would come in under $1,000.00. Just depends on the shop your going to. You might want to go online and research transmission shops in your area and also look at their Yelp reviews.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Yes, that is way too much! I would think $3,000.00 to $3,500.00 would be about right (for both). May I ask what the problem with them both would be? Thanks again for using 2CarPros.
