Transmission will not into gear

It will start and run. Will not go into any gear. The hear selector moves but the vehicle doesn't move at all. it's like it's in park the entire time no matter what gear you choose.

Good morning,

If you shift it into neutral, does it roll freely? Want to be sure it is not the shift cable that is causing this issue.
