Transmission goes in reverse but not forward

Car slide of road in snow I tried to drive out but got stuck. So I got pulled out and now car goes in reverse but not forward.
What do I do?

It sounds like the transmission range sensor got broken. Here is a diagram below to show you the location so you can check it out. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
