Transmission slipping issue

Transmission is slipping.

If it is slipping, first confirm the fluid is both clean and full. If it is and the check engine light is on, you will need to have the computer scanned for diagnostic trouble codes. If none are found and this is the original transmission with 200,000 on it, there is a good chance the clutches are worn. If that is the case, then the fluid will most likely be dark and have a burnt smell to it. If it doesn't and is clean, then we will need to check line pressure.
