Going down the highway I noticed my truck was slowing down. Some how I lost drive. Now when I take off I cannot feel it shift and about forty five miles an hour if I let off the gas it is like it drops out until I slow down until thirty five. I have rebuilt the transmission at home, new shift solenoids, clutches, plates, bushings, speed sensor and more. It still does the same. I have cleared the codes on the PCM. Am I missing something?

It sounds like you have a front pump issue with a lip seal or something because you are loosing pressure. Did you do a full rebuild with clutches etc?

Here are the full set of diagrams to help you fix the problem:

Please let us know what happens so it will help others.

Cheers, Ken

I did a complete rebuild and more. I used a master kit, plates, clutches and seals. I bought a bushing kit, new rear planet, direct drum and a new pin for the direct servo with o ring. I used vids from www. Transmissionbench. Com. Checked every thing with 30psi to make sure every thing was working. Here it is from the beginning, I started out with a speedometer that was jumping around at about 45 and above. My over drive light would start blinking once in a while. A friend of mine told me to change the speedometer. I got one used. The over drive light stopped blinking. Then in about a week is when I was going down the highway and lost drive. I think it is taking off in 2nd. I pulled the tranny and rebuilt it. This did not change anything. I bought a speed sensor, new shift solenoids and neutral safety switch. Still no change. I did a manual code check. The only code I have is 632 E4OD- Transmission control switch should be cycled once between engine ID and goose test. Do not know what this means. I cleared the codes and tested it. Went down the road and did not feel any shifting, got up to about 45 and let off the gas. When I pushed back down I had nothing. After letting it coast down to about 35 it kicked back in. Same as before I rebuilt it. Now, if I leave the OD off and let off the gas it stays in gear.
