Engine will not crank after replacing the transmission?

I replaced a transmission in this vehicle listed above. The truck ran before anything was done on it. Now the truck won't even crank over. i noticed on the prnd the little underscore to let you know what gear it is in is no longer there, so the truck does not know what gear it is in. Please help. i know not what to do at this point in time.

It sounds like the gear range sensor is not plugged in completely or the sensor is bad, here is the location so you can check it out. Also, check the main electrical connector going to the transmission it might not be plugged in completely as well. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.
