Where is the transmission ID tag located?

I was told there are two versions of the Ax4s transmission and want to ensure the right replacement.

When repairing the automatic transaxle, refer to the identification tag located on top of the converter housing. Here is what it looks like in the images below. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

After looking on the Transmission there was not any tag located in that location. Maybe at some point it was removed. Now not sure what to do.

That where they say to tag is, the VIN number might have information as to the transmission, you can out the VIN in Google and it will find the options.
