Hi, I am going to buy a used 1995 BMW 325i with 150,000 miles on it. It has a new catalytic converter, new ignition and key new starter, new battery also has brand new fan clutch and radiator. Owner said it needs the transmission serviced, it has a closed transmission and it is low on oil. What does that mean?

Unless he is practically giving the car away, walk away, that car is a money pit.
The GM built transmission is weak to begin with and if is low on oil there is a leak and that can be a great deal money.
