The car doesn’t shift when transmission is warm it goes into neutral. Pretty much, I’ll drive down the road it’ll be fine then goes neutral, turn it off sit for a bit works again goes down the road and then goes back in neutral.

Hi,

I just looked through each code. I suspect the P0740 is the result of the P0730. What I read indicates there could be either a line pressure issue or a shift solenoid issue. Interestingly, it doesn't mention anything about this, only happening when the vehicle is warm.

I am going to provide the test information below. However, it will require a scan tool that can communicate with the system.

I do have a question. I realize this may sound basic, but is the fluid clean and full? If the fluid is excessively low, you can lose pressure.

Let me know. Also, let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
