Can I put my transmission into a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2 liter?

Can you locate and take a picture of the body code plate? It is located on the radiator closure panel or the floor pan under the passenger seat.
Or do you know which transmission is in each vehicle? More then likely you have the 46 RFE and if they are the same in each then there would be no issue but if the 42 or 47 RFE then it will bolt up but you may have some programming/shifting issues. Basically you would need the PCM to know that you have a different transmission and then you will be just fine.
