Okay I just bought this car my first car for me and my two month old and it has been sitting for eight months. The previous owner said the transmission seems to jump when going into reverse and lags going up hill and it has no power. I did read it has something to do with pressure and can be helped with a air compressor. How do I do that?

First thing to do before anything else is to scan for codes, auto parts does for free and then rent a fuel pressure gauge and check that. then look for a vacuum leak like a hose off etc. if any codes get back to us. See link for fuel pressure.

If a trans mount is bad it will give you ajolt/bang problem straighten out all the issues then drive it and see what you have. More than likely the mount will fix your one problem
