transmission is not going in reverse

is not reversing and i diagnose it showed transmission fluid temperature sensor malfunction and i attended to it. it is cleared, but still not reversing.

What did the inside of the oil pan look like? Sounds like a broken clutch pack

i just change the oil. its still clean

I agree with the Dr Hagerty, it sounds like a mechanical problem, but i would not rule out a faulty actuator, a live data read on the transmission will show if the reverse solenoid is activating, if so i feel it will be a mechanical problem.
