I changed my transmission filter and put four quarts to begin with. Then cranked it and put my foot on the brake. Then checked it again to see if I had to add more it didn't read but a drop on the stick so I added one and a half more quarts and it's still barely reading on the stick. but it reads almost full when it's not cranked and cold.

Good afternoon,

When you change the pan and the filter it takes about 7 quarts to fill the system. Check the level on level ground with the engine warm and the car in park. Let me know the level. Roy
