I have two. How am I supposed to check the transmission fluid with no dipstick? Also I hear all kinds of noise from the front end. It sounds like hydrolic parts moving and clunking. Not nice sounds.

Good morning,

The fluid level is checked at the drain plug. There is a large plug that is for draining the fluid from the pan. Inside the big drain plug, you will see a small plug. Remove that plug and if the fluid is full, fluid should come out. If it does not, then you need to add fluid to the pan.

As far as the front end, it could be many things. It could be shocks, bushings or worn components.

You should have a shop do a free suspension check for you and let me know the results.

Thanks for the information. I will get on this right away. I'll let you know about the suspension check. Who does this for free. Any franchise shops? Would a shop like AAmco check this while diagnosing the transmission?

They may or may not.

Firestone, Goodyear, and Pepboys do this as a free service.
