I have a 2001 Ford Escape 4wd and my transmission went out. My transmission has an Id number of YL8P-FB is that interchangble with a 2001 Ford escape transmission 4wd with Id number of 1L8P-DA. They are both for 4wd

they are different and may have different controls which will effect operation.

call the dealer and give them these codes and see if they will work
