Car wont reverse or drive. Can that be due to transmission filter clogged and need transmission flush?

Hello,

If the fluid level is okay, then yes they could be a cause. Is the fluid level okay? It needs to be checked while warm running and in park.
Let me know if that checks out and we can go from there.

Good afternoon,

This could be from many issues.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/automatic-transmission-problems

1. Low fluid level from a leak.

2. Clogged filter in the transmission.

3. Torque converter failure or front pump inside the transmission.

4. Transfer case. If it is stuck in neutral position, there will be no transfer of power to the rear wheels.

Can you feel it go into gear? Did you try changing the ranges from 2 to 4 wheel drive to see if it moves?
