i went to leave i put my car in reverse and it wouldn't move and will not go into gear or anything now.

Did you check the fluid level? Make sure it is at the proper level.

I would also consider changing the fluid and filter. The filter may be clogged.

Beyond that, it is internal such as the front pump or torque converter.
