My car drives fine but when it's in reverse there is no power to the wheels, they don't move or anything. But every other gear works fine.

Hi,

This could be the result of several things. I attached a list below that shows possible causes for no reverse. The easiest thing would be a linkage repair. Does the shifter feel normal when switching to reverse? Does the gear indicator show reverse?

Take a look through this list. Here is the thing, everything can be tested, but it will take a lot of time. So, if you don't have one, find someone that has a scan tool that can read transmission codes and have them scan the computer. That should provide diagnostic trouble codes to point us in the right direction.

Take a look at this list:

Let me know as much as you can. Also, if you can get it scanned, it will certainly help.
