Reverse quit otherwise drives well. Transmission fluid looks like it's never bin changed no colour and looks thin

Hello,
It sounds like you have a shift selector switch that is out. This switch sits on the side of the transmission (diagrams below)
There are several fuses the control the transmission Here are some guides to help you.
