Transmission code p0708

The truck has an issue taking off and going up hill. I have the engine code p0708. Does this code create the issue I am having and will this also put the transmission into "safe-mode"? The issues that are currently taking place are. Cranks but does not start, which just started today, and the other issues of slow take off and no power going up hills.

Good afternoon.

The 708 is for the transmission range sensor.

It will cause your no start as well as transmission issues. It sounds like the sensor has failed. I would start there and see if your issue is resolved.
