Transmission will not go into any gear

Transmission went into reverse but now it will not go into gear or anything. It just stays in neutral and seems like it cannot locate the linkage.

Good morning.

Some checks:

1. Check fluid level.
2. make sure the linkage is working correctly.
3. I would start by dropping the pan and checking to see if the filter is blocked.
