Hi how is your day? My question is, why did my reverse go out on my car? Is there any basic way I could fix it without buy a new car? Please help it my first owned car.

Hello,

It sounds like you lost your reverse shift solenoid and it needs to be replaced. Here is a guide to help you

and the wiring diagrams (below) to make sure you replace the right one.

Also check the fuses
