The transmission is shifting slowly and there was a leak under the truck a few weeks ago.

Where does the transmission fluid go and where do I drain it from?

The fill and drain plugs are underneath the vehicle. he problem is that you need to monitor the transmission temperature to check the level and this is done with a scan tool. The scan tool is also needed to run diagnostic tests on the transmission to show where the problem is.
The picture shows the fill screw (1) and the drain (2) If it has a leak that would need to be addressed first as these transmissions are very touchy about fluid levels.
