I have no clue if it's low on fluid or what not as this is my first ever truck/car.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

Honestly, this has a hydraulic clutch system. If it is low on fluid, it may not be fully disengaging the transmission to shift. Can you explain what is happening? Is there any grinding? Is the shifter lever tight? Anything you can think of that may help me diagnose the issue.

The clutch master cylinder is located under the hood on the firewall. Check to make sure it is full. Also, check to confirm the transmission fluid is full and clean. It is common for people to not service manual transmissions, but they do require it.

Here is a link that discusses common symptoms of clutch issues. Take a look through it to see if anything mirrors what you are experiencing and let me know.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.
