While driving the transmission stopped working?

It was explained to me that the truck was just driving along, then nothing, no gears no drive or reverse nothing. Leading up to it doing this not slipping in or out, not low on fluid didn’t get hot was not pulling anything just went out of gear? Mark

Yep, I have seen the input shaft break, or the front fluid pump go out inside the transmission, but I would run the codes to see if any come up. I would see if the reverse lights come on to check the gear range sensor.
