My truck goes into gear but won’t move in any forward gears, only moves in reverse.

This can happen when the first gear control solenoid goes out or the gear range sensor stops working. We should run the codes to see if anything comes up. this guide can help:

Here are the gear range sensor replacement instructions and I would get a rebuilt valve body which will come with new solenoids. Also check the fluid condition to see if it is burnt. This will tell you the clutches are worn out and the unit will need a rebuild. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
