Sometimes when I come to a stop the transmission acts like it is in neutral. I have to put the car in neutral and back into drive in order for it to go. It does not happen all the time but it annoying.

Good morning.

The first thing I would do is check the fluid level. Also look at the condition of the oil. Ssee if it is black or burned.

Also, a clogged filter would cause this issue if it has not been serviced recently.

Are there any codes in the system?
