Will not go in reverse how do you adjust shifting linkage cable?

Here is how to adjust the shift linkage. Can I ask what makes you think it is an adjustment? most of the time the cable needs to be replaced FYI. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.
