Replaced clutches and bands put back in, no throttle response to transmission feel reverse go in but no throttle response, same with drive. Replaced the speed sensor thinking this might be either governor, TCC or valve body issue. Also, tried pulling 8 pin off and shifting each gear no difference. No codes, throttle cable is also adjusted properly with less than a 1/8 of play.

When you reinstalled, the transmission did you get the torque converter all the way seated? If not, the front pump got damaged during the repair. This video will show you what I am talking about, also we should run the codes to see if anything is stored, the throttle cable will not affect the 1st gear engagement. It sounds like the unit has no fluid pressure, full of fluid and the filter on correctly? Also, I have seen the pressure regulating control solenoid have issues and cause this problem as well did you replace it?
